Passports
Valid passport required by all except nationals of Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay. These five countries, may use their national ID cards.
Citizen of following countries do not require a Tourist visa:
- nationals of Andorra, Barbados, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Hong Kong (SAR), Iceland, Israel, Korea (Rep), Liechtenstein, Macedonia (Former Yugoslav Republic of), Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, St Lucia, St Vincent & the Grenadines, San Marino, Serbia & Montenegro, Singapore, South Africa, Switzerland, Trinidad & Tobago, Turkey, Uruguay, Vatican City and Venezuela for stays of up to 90 days;
- nationals of Grenada, Hong Kong (BNO), Jamaica and Malaysia for stays of up to 30 days;
- transit passengers holding confirmed onward or return tickets for travel provided continuing their journey within six hours and not leaving the airport.
Nationals of countries not appearing above may require a visa to enter Argentina for any length of time
Visa Requirements:
- Valid passport.
- Application form.
- One passport photo.
- Fee; payable by cheque or postal order.
- Medical certificate stating that the applicant is free of any symptoms of infectious diseases.
- Return ticket.
- Proof of sufficient funds
- Affidavit signed at consular section by applicant, declaring that applicant has not, in the last 30 days, been to any SARS countries or zones and that they will not travel to them during the validity of the visa.
- Proof of legal residence in country of residence.
Time required to issue visa: 2 days, on average, for a tourist visa.
Validity of visa: Tourist visas are usually valid for up to 90 days.
